Clarification: I'm not actually self-inserting in this RP. I just picked his name as my Username because I'm horrible at coming up with names. This is cross-posted from the other site because I had reached the 5 post limit needed, and I wanted to make changes to the thread as necessary. I've posted the image I wanted, too!

Name: Ramoth
Gender: Male
Age: 2.75 human years (or the rough equivalent of 21 in dog years)
Species: Wolf
Pack: Rogue, turned Northern Mountain wolf
Rank: Indifferent to pack dynamics; serves as a protector
Alignment: Neutral. He is not mean to anyone that doesn't deserve it.
Build: Physically, he is unremarkable when compared to other wolves of his tribe. Compared to Valley wolves however, he is noticeably larger and more heavily built than even the largest Valley wolves.
Personality: Ramoth is primarily 3 things: Pragmatic, jaded, and independent. He is a pure and uncomplicated fighter, who pairs his intelligence and experience with his strength to great effect; still, he is largely indifferent to most worldly concerns and is not driven by the desire for violence or conflict, and it is these more mellow attributes that made him decide to leave his more hot-headed brethren. While he differed significantly from the pack in terms of temperament, he DID keep the Ice-Fang dislike for silliness, weakness, egotism, and overly talkative creatures.
Ramoth is surly, outspoken (when necessary), observant, and charismatic. Even so, he prefers to be a follower and not a leader because it requires less effort; Ramoth often does not often associate with others unless necessary, has no interest in a significant other, or many friends. His apparently humorless nature has unfortunately kept him at odds with most of the other valley wolves; he is rarely the one that starts fights, but will fight readily and without restraint if provoked.
Background: Ramoth was a member of a wolf pack that lives in hostile, wasteland-like tundra much farther north than the Valley. Frozen year-round, where food is scarce and filled with dangerous wildlife such as bears, moose, and arctic felines, the harsh land cultivated even harsher civilizations. The Ice-Fang, his native tribe, are a semi-nomadic and very war-like pack similar to the Spartans of classical Europe that constantly bickered with their sworn rivals, the Frost-Claw snow leopards.
However, Arctic Gray Wolves are considered a rare oddity farther south; the few that survive into old age frequently gravitate south where hunting and survival is easier.
History: Ramoth was born and raised in the traditional Ice-Fang way: trained since birth to be an unquestioning fighting machine. Even so, it was apparent since his early childhood that while he was particularly adept at fighting, he did not have the trademark Ice-Fang lust for battle.
After being directly responsible for the pack’s victory in several conflicts that ended with the Frost-Claw fleeing the region, he considered his service to the pack complete and left with his parents’ blessing to make his own way. Since then he has wandered the land adventuring (for lack of a better word) and learning to live in the warmer, less hostile regions.
Eventually, Ramoth entered the Forgotten Valley and encountered the Northern Mountain wolves by chance; he found them to be similar to the Ice-Fang if a lot less war-like and more even-tempered, and stayed on for lack of anything better to do.
Appearance: Forgive the horribleness of this photo, but this is how he was supposed to look more or less (coloring obviously not finished). Not pictured are his green eyes:
